In January 2018, we donated $1,000 to Red Bucket Horse Rescue in Chino Hills.
In November 2019, we donated $600 in gift cards to Adopt-A-Family.
In December 2019, we donated $250 to Caring for the Hills.
Every year, Caring for the Hills puts together dozens and dozens of boxes of Thanksgiving and Christmas meals including a turkey, ham, or pork with dressing, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, and bread.
Since November 2013, Chino Hills 55+ Club helped out by doing some of the shopping and donating items. Below, you can see what we have delivered to them to assist their volunteers to feed local families down on their luck.
55+ Club President Susanne Baxter asked our members to officially adopt Caring for the Hills as a Club ‘project’. The vote of support for her idea was overwhelmingly supportive.
Caring for the Hills was a full-time project for Judy and Ned Rogers, longtime Chino Hills residents. They began their charity in 1997. In 2013, they provided meals to over 35,000 family members. In 2014, they served over 40,000 meals. When Judy passed away (August 2017), Ned has carried on the tradition. YOU can help too! For more information about Caring for the Hills, CLICK HERE.
